Today’s Bourbon advertisement is a circa 1938 Glenmore Kentucky Straight Bourbon Advertisement. I did a search and found this interesting Glenmore timeline courtesy of Mike Veach over on BourbonEnthusiast.com. I’ve come to learn that Bourbon’s heritage is nothing if not convoluted and intertwined.
Since we reached 500 fans on Facebook this week I thought that I would post a special vintage ad today. While not technically for Bourbon, it’s definitely an item that was used by more than a few Bourbon drinkers back in 1965. Bonus points for anyone who can actually claim they’ve used these in the comments section. (My humble apologies to anyone reading this that gets offended by the following.)
