“The Best Cocktail Shaker Since Prohibition”

That’s the bold statement Shaker 33 uses on Kickstarter.com to catch your attention and draw you in to learn more about their product and campaign. It’s a highly effective tagline and one that I’m sure will spark much debate as people learn more about Shaker 33 over the next 31 days.

We received a prototype of the Shaker 33 a few weeks ago and decided to see if it really delivered on what the creators state are the products innovative features and advantages over the more traditional cobbler and Boston shakers. The video above provides an overview of the product, how it’s used and our overall thoughts on whether or not you should consider Shaker 33 Kickstarter Campaign.

Here’s some additional details before you check out the video:

Shaker 33 Product Details PhotoNEXT-GENERATION COCKTAIL SHAKER

Shaker 33 is a completely redesigned cocktail shaker and is without question: “The Best Cocktail Shaker Since Prohibition.” Shaker 33’s modern design, state-of-the-art materials and patented technology are significant improvements over the traditional cocktail shaker design, which has remained unchanged since the early 1900’s.

We don’t use a 100-year-old phone, why do we accept a cocktail shaker that was designed over a century ago?

WHAT IS SHAKER 33?

Shaker 33’s patented design lets anyone create cocktails like a pro. The improved design makes crafting a world class cocktail easier and more joyful by eliminating the design flaws that plague traditional cocktail shakers.

Shaker 33 is manufactured in the USA of Eastman Tritan andSilicone, and is available in clear, frosted or black.

DESIGN AND FUNCTION

Shaker 33 combines several essential innovations that completely change the experience of crafting great cocktails:

  • The locking lid is easy to attach, easy to remove, eliminates spills and leaks and never gets stuck.
  • The patented, smooth pouring, removable strainer locks onto the shaker and includes two pouring options: large holes for faster pouring, smaller holes for better straining.
  • The ergonomic design is lightweight, easy to hold and makes shaking with one hand comfortable and mess free.
  • The modern materials are BPA-free, dishwasher safe and chill your delicious drink without freezing your hands.

Shaker 33 elevates the simple to the sophisticated by modernizing and elevating the art of cocktail making. With Shaker 33 everyone can craft the perfect drink, add some flare to their shake and experience the joy of using a tool designed for today.

Without spoiling our review too much, I think this product is going to be of interest to consumers who enjoy making cocktails at home and are looking for ways to make the experience more enjoyable and less tedious. Bartenders that make their living by creating cocktails may be a tougher sell due to their need to move quickly and produce a large volume of drinks for hours on end.

We’ll be keeping our eyes on Shaker’s 33 pledges and look forward to what others have to say once they’ve viewed our review and Shaker 33’s Kickstarter campaign page.
