Walkers Deluxe Bourbon Ad Circa 1960

Today’s featured bourbon ad is very timely considering I’m traveling with the family on vacation. It also offers some pretty good advice, “It’s great to take chances but not on your bourbon.”

I can’t help but wonder what this ad concept would look like if created today. Would they feature a guy jumping out of a plane or bungee jumping? If there’s any aspiring graphic designers out there that feel inspired go ahead and mock-up your concept of how this ad would look today. Send it our way and we’ll share it with everyone. Who knows, maybe we’ll start a regular feature of  redesigning vintage ads for today’s bourbon drinker.

Have a great Friday and even better weekend. Cheers!
