Are you the Guest?
One of our family favorites is Maple Bourbon Bacon Jam. We like to eat it with a crusty loaf of no-knead bread. The bread is very easy to make, but you need to make the dough a day prior to baking. So, you’ll need to plan ahead a little. If you make the jam in advance, heat it up a bit when serving. I assure you, if you you are a guest at someone’s home and you bring these two items, you are guaranteed to be invited back. That is, barring any awkward political arguments with your crazy uncle.
We all know Thanksgiving is a show-off’s game (and you’re about to win it). I hope you find some recipes here that will sufficiently impress your friends and family. Do you have any favorite bourbon recipes to share?
